quite abit has happened. well. erm NCCs passed. we did pretty well. first time ever, i have a canoeing medal. quite cool. its just over a yr since i started. so yeah, pretty cool. lol! world champs is in about 6 weeks. suzie and i are getting more co-ordinated but i guess we can still do better. hopefully.

new rumours. -_- really really lame stuff so whatsever.

going to watch stomp on 8th oct. hopefully, when i start my paramedics training it doesn't clash.

which reminds me, i think i need to email them so they don't forget about me. i;m being quite paranoid afraid that they won't call me in for the contract signing and all. then i'll be jobless and penniless and lost.

public enemies is out this week! pretty darn awesome.

maybe i should stop here cos my tthoughts are really all over the place.

hehe, we're having one sleepover today and another on sunday! super fun. i love sleepovers! they make me happy!

anyways, it was damn awesome, dress hunting for andrea was super duper successful. the dress we chose is super awesome and damn there were so many awesome dresses to buy. but i dunno. we ended up with just one damn awesome jacket! but oooooh, i shopped for like freaking 5 hrs. till my back ached! 

tmr's work, then baking, then sleep, then NCCs on sat & sun! photos, photos, photos!

anyway, this shirt is sooo cute!!!! i want it!!!

okay first off, dinner at uncle ian's was super duper good. i haven't eaten that much food in so long but damn was it good. especially the desserts. okay fine, i'm biased. i'm a sucker for the sweet stuff. but still! that mango ice-cream was the best i've tasted so far and that choc cake, had just the right balance of saltiness and sweetness. it was utterly delectable.

as for time trials, as expected, i got owned big time by weiling. and andrea who finished 2 buoys ahead of me. i clocked a timing 1 sec short of the expected time. i think i owe that to my failed start. i tickled the water on my first stroke. totally foiled my devious false start plans. NCCs are next week. K4 200m, hopefully we can paddle together before the race so that we can own everybody! hahahahahah oh yeah oh yeah! i'm just getting a little delirious here. must be the result of the two chocolate cakes and almost a quarter of that tub of mango ice-cream. 

okay, i'm actually way behind schedule in terms of sleep, so if you do not mind. ttfn, tata for now!

i have done it ONCE and AGAIN. i've lost my wallet. this time my damage is far higher than previous time it goes into the hundreds. damn freaking winner. i'm quite upset cos i thought i was over this. i seriously thought so. now i'm living on good graces cos i can't withdraw any money what so ever. cards should be coming in maybe only like on wednesday. sucks.

it's been pretty insane. i've started double training for about a week or two already. i enjoy it except that it's really really tiring. 

i've also been catching up on my movies. with all the cool shows coming out, i'm at the movies at least once a week! terminator salvation was awesome. the effects and sound was amazingly mastered. i love christian bale but i think sam worthington did great. his character was very well played. it had pockets of humor which i really enjoyed. i'm totally watching it again. hahahs.

the next few weekends ares are totally packed.

7th june - madeline's wedding

14th june - time trials & dinner @ uncle ian's place

20th june -  NCCs & popo's birthday dinner

21st june -  NCCs

27th & 28th june - SDBF (though we're not paddling, we're obviously going to go there just to cheer the guys on)

time flies and its already june. its just a short 3 months to world champs and my holiday. it's a little unsettled at the moment but it's gonna work out. i'm starting to feel my kayak even better, and i'm finally able to at least keep a decent stroke rate for a decent time. so i'm getting a little psyched. i'm not that fast yet. but i guess, i've come far enough. i've been paddling for about 11 months now, almost coming to a 1 year mark and i'm still loving it. of cos i have bad days when i can't feel it, but its pretty cool on those days when you really the feel :)

anyway, i had this morbid weird dream last night. and i'm still trying to decipher it. it's kinda freaking me out how real it felt and the thing is i can remember it. its like crystal clear in my head.
